The Chartered Financial Analyst designation provides a strong foundation for investment analysis and portfolio management. To become a CFA, a person must complete a rigorous course of study and pass three examinations over the course of two or more years, and must also adhere to a strict code of ethics and have four years of work experience in an investment decision-making setting. Georgia Bruggeman, financial advisor and founder of Meridian Financial, earned her MBA in Finance from Babson College and has passed Levels I and II of the CFA program. Georgia is a member of the CFA Institute.
